And go further, I dont get why people are hating MX UI. Everything is laid out perfectly, the minimal, Ableton style graphics simplifies the complexity of MX, also makes it looks very futuristic and cool, fitting MX goal. It could use some movements though, like points orbiting knobs, or flashing modulator buttons.
But overall, using this synth is very enjoyable. DSP is just top notch, it's the best sounding synth for me, sweetspots paradise, everything I do just sounds beautiful. Top 1, Z3 2nd (close though). I hope NI work more on this.

Have to say it, if you're comparing Massive X gui wise to Zebra 3 and coming away thinking that Massive X is easier to navigate... you have to be nuts. Massive X might be better off if it took of the screen real estate that Zebra does, but that's not the case.

I didnt compare anything, was just confused on why some people are saying MX UI is bad. I enjoy both MX and Z3 UIs.machinesworking wrote: Tue Jun 30, 2026 8:28 pm Have to say it, if you're comparing Massive X gui wise to Zebra 3 and coming away thinking that Massive X is easier to navigate... you have to be nuts. Sure, I forgot about the oscillator effects.pdxindy wrote: Mon Jun 29, 2026 2:09 pmZebra 3 has:
EQ/Resonator
Ringmod
Wavefolder
Bit Crusher
Utility module which can adjust mid/side, mono-ize the bass...
Phaser
All of those are per voice and modulate well. Or did you mean something different?

I’ve gone through it too many times, but Massive X doesn’t have a good UI for various reasons. Zebra 3 doesn’t either, though. Lots of stuff like having to click on text that’s actually a secret button.jtsterays wrote: Tue Jun 30, 2026 8:39 pmI didnt compare anything, was just confused on why some people are saying MX UI is bad. Yes, but we should also argue about them. This is the (KVR) way.EvilDragon wrote: Mon Jun 29, 2026 6:34 pm Both are terrific and everyone should have and enjoy both!
