2026 and yall finally have grid lines, gg daw wars over.
Jokes aside the flex changes they made are actually really good and a step in the right direction. This probably took a good amount of work under the hood.
They made the browser worse lol. The + icon has nothing compared to before for a Boolean multi type search. Could be user error?
I mean this is another update of yall getting vertical faders. I don’t think logic is really being invested in.

Gridlines are nice but they should at the same time added an optional extra shading of four-beat section (or arbitrary), similar to how Ableton does it (filed a feature request about this ages ago).
In general it's nice Logic has new features and bug fixes but we are getting small chunks at a time, good or bad.

Alchemy update is nice but I just wish they would update the GUI so it is high res, and finish updating the GUIs for all the other devices.

App Store changelog:
Flex Time and Smart Tempo Enhancements
Flex Time and Smart Tempo Enhancements
- Drag and drop short looping audio files into your project and Flex Time will accurately identify and match them to the project tempo
- Files with inaccurate stored tempo data can be imported and automatically analyzed using Smart Tempo
- Take a rare behind the scenes look into the Logic Pro project of the hit song 'Shoulda Never' by the GRAMMY award winning team Kehlani, Usher, and Khris Riddick-Tynes
- Transform your productions with the Granular Alchemy pack - a collection of otherworldly sounds designed around the new Grain Sync mode
- Explore even more ways to flip your audio with new modes for filter and pan, and randomization controls
- Discover new sonic timbres and textures in granular synthesis with granular sync mode
- Chord detection is improved to more accurately pinpoint a wider range of music styles and productions
- Chords from solo instruments like guitar and piano are identified with improved reliability including those with distortion or with modest tuning differences
- Chord inversions are better recognized, including capturing slash voicing like C/E rather than just C
- Richer chord flavors are detected with even greater accuracy including 7ths, maj7s, and 6ths

... ultimately the Ableton idea to stick to a simple but working GUI long-term might be the best solution, some of those Logic plugins are still from the skeuomorphism days.
