vocal samples added - remixed

Post

I'm not sure what genre to classify this as, as I never usually listen to this genre.

Anyway, (I'm writing as I listen):
The vocal chops are good, and the drums are decent.
However at 0:00 to 0:03, some of the hi-hat frequencies are a bit harsh (but you probably wanted it that way)

Overall enjoyable!

Thank you for listening and for your feedback.
I do not have real monitor speakers and sometimes I don't hear some errors or mistakes (or subconciously don't want to).
Here, I guess, the mastering compressor is kicking in too late.
I am using free open source multiband mastering compressor and now that I have learned a lil bit, I can hear the compressors starting too work. Sometimes, the compresssor starts too late.
When setting attack latency to close to zero, I start hearing some distrortions.
Mastering is the holy grail, and I am still some limes away from my goals

"MauiWauie": Easy-listening pop songs. However, the track lacks the
structure needed to truly qualify as a pop song — by which I mean a
narrative and a dramatic arc. As it stands, it sounds like a fragment —
an excerpt. That said, it has a lovely, groovy, and spacey vibe.

Wonderful! :tu:
