HI

Will there be a Samplitude V8 demo - judging by the new dongle protection I am starting to doubt it, there are some great deals on this host at the moment but no demo :dog: .

Flipper.

The demo is now available at http://www.samplitude.com/de/dwnloads.htm

Because of the size, some things aren't included, though.

Looks like they haven't included the Analog Modelling Suite in the demo Sascha :(

perhaps samp 8 is the way to go for us logic 5.5.1'ers?

I'm preparing to move over to Samplitude from Logic Lance .

Post

i've had my eyes on samp 8 for quite a while, but i aint doin anthing drasty. :P
grabbed the demo now and gunna have a look and see anyways..

but from what i have been reading and seeing, it sure looks like a good candidate!
- good efx
- good/nice gui (workflow from what i can see..)
- compability
- and many more things..etc..

have no probs in logic yet, but i guess more conflicts will come more and more often soon, so better look for a backdoor.

Post

i'm a lttle afraid that i am gunna miss logic's workflow, its efx, and synths quite a lot!! (how am i gunna make it without ES2?) but well..

Post

I'am really in total love with some late Samp demoing : exact rendering of recorded material ... really priceless !! :hail:
On top of that : awesome fast workflow ( for me ) and rather efficient UI + nice GUI for me ...

When I've got the money, I'am in ... :)

Yes, I know. For reasons such as download size we've had to skip a few things like the robota and the am suite (both would be +9MB installer size AFAIK). But believe me, I'm not happy with that. Maybe that needs users like you insisting on it, dunno ;)

How do you get along with the rest?

Oh yes, I like Magix. Magix products were my first ones when I started making computer music back in 1999 (Music Studio 2000 and Music Maker 2000). And still today often I´m using the new versions.

Btw., it´s too bad that Samplitude Pro 8.0 is available since some weeks on a german website as crack. :(

HI

Fabulous, I will download and check this out later, I am an ex-Logic user looking for some sanity in the world - perhaps this is it?

HI

This is directed at 'Sascha', when will Samplitude consider coding in support for dual cpu setups?

This is a market that is getting bigger and needs to be catered for.

Porpoise.
