Not a strange “choice” at all. You can’t do that on the hardware, and this is supposed to be an MKS-80 emulation.

Yeah, he added effects, but those are kind of off to the side. They don’t really mess with the synth’s architecture. Tempo sync is different because now you’re changing how the actual synth engine behaves. And he could add it, sure, but then where do you stop? Supersaw waveform? FM? Extra modulation?

So you’re saying it’s not a strange choice at all because it’s an emulation of hardware but at the same time you’re ok with its effects that aren’t on the hardware?
