yes, and it starts to hurt me. Starts to feel like cheap attempts "to just milk the man". Anyway.....

bought this one by plain risk (even bevore reading the comments here),..........looks like a fun thing. Pricing is very fair, and i consider it clever to walk "that way".

The video just had me.
I bought often enough elektron Boxes with exactly such sound-uses in mind

And: Thanks at Eric. Now i can load it sometimes later with a even better feel ;)
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

When this is vibe coded anyway (low effort on the coding side in comparison to traditional development) I find it quite surprising that the AI was not told to add a demo feature like silence every 5 mins which obviously would be super easy to do. Personally I very dislike the buy-and-then-refund model for "demoing".

Is there a user manual? I was unable to find it anywhere on the website.

Can someone who owns confirm if it has midi output please?
I’d like to use the sequencer with hardware.

This has two instances of Glitchwork. You can imagine how stripped down it would sound without those little incidental sounds in the background.

How many voices is there?

Is there any "normal" screenshot of the GUI somewhere? I find hard to tell the GUI and features from the video or the angled view of the product page on Gumroad...
There are 16 "voices" in the sequencer section (which can be triggered individually), but one suggestion I got from the comments was to add the ability to bypass the sequencer to be able to send MIDI in across the entire octave range. That's something I'm going to look at for v1.1.

Video walkthrough will be released tomorrow.
I bought it but I must be dumb because I can't figure out how to sequence the 16 voices altogether :help: ?
All I can do is sequence one voice, with Parameter locks style on each step (à la Elektron)
Could you tell me how to select each voice, tweak it and create a whole kit?
Thank you

There is no MIDI out...yet. That's definitely something I want to add along with MIDI export (drag and drop)

Dude! This sounds fantastic. So happy you're loving it! Someone in my comments suggested putting Glitchwork through BEAM's new "Bismuth" resonator. I didn't even think about that...

The step selection method should be pretty straight forward. Select the top of the numbered step (next to each lock button) and the sequence changes. When you do make changes in the voice section, make sure it's on "EDIT ONE" and not "EDIT ALL" or else it will edit every step at once. Hope that helps!

I don't understand this “to just milk the man” sentence. I own several indie plugins from Gumroad and I will pick this one as soon the walkthrough video is released

But unless I am mistaken what you describe here is more "monitimbral with 16 parameter locks", than "16 voice multimbral": am I right?
If it's 16 voice, how do you do to have one sound hitting at the same time as another sound (like a bass drum and a snare drum both at the first time of a sequence)?
To me, it seems more like an evolving sequence of a single voice than a "classic" (16 voice multimbral) drum machine, or am I missing something?

Right now, it has MIDI input, so you can trigger all 16 voices from your keyboard, an external sequencer, or a drum machine. The 16 notes start at C1 and run through D#2. As I mentioned earlier, I plan to expand this functionality in the future.

Oh, ok, I didn't realize that!
Thank you for the tip 😊

Oh, yes ! So the 16 parts would be available to trig from the internal sequencer?
That would be great 👍

Post

Also, did you consider adding a noise source and a filter as well?
It's not strictly FM, but very useful when it comes to drum synthesis :phones:
