notarized installer is on the way. When you don't want to wait, there is a guide in the macOS readme that should to the trick for getting around the blacklisting.

I’ll take a look, thank you.

The au crashes instantly after recording here. Like when the length of recording is met, it triggers the crash.

Hi simmo,
you can Download the notarized AU / Vst3 Versions now via Page.
Still a dmg, but you should not get any quarantine problems anymore.
Also the Problem with the AU Version Crash has been solved.

I originally compiled the plugin on the newest macOS (Tahoe), which also blocked older macOS versions. Maybe this was also your Problem.
I just fixed it to support older versions and uploaded HziLooper_MacOS_11.0.dmg. Hope everything works out for you now! :tu:

Thought about adding ducking? Might be cool to have loops able to duck ea other, or a global effect.

There is a sidechain option in the lower left. You can also route internal tracks to it when Sidechain activated on track (SC Knob on Channel) to duck the rest of your tracks. :hyper:

you're welcome. Glad you dig it and reach out if you have any cool suggestions to make this better :tu:

I would like to set up 4-6 instances, one per track, and be able to midi control each loop, from each instance with the same command from a midi controller. So, for example, I want the first loop from each instance to run at the same time by a single midi command. Then I want to be able to switch to the second loop of each instance at the same time by another single midi control. And so on and so on through all of the loops. I want this so that I can layer and mute/unmute each loop of a part separately, while still being able to play each part as a song segment--kind of like a mobile session view (using plugins).

Can this currently be done? :)

oook. i think i know what you mean - you spread more vst instances over tracks, send play 1 to each (every track is midi armes, this is already possible) but then want to switch to track 2 (play track2) while stopping play of track 1. Like Ableton Session logic. Right? If so, yeah i can implement this as an option👍

Yes, exactly. Like Ableton Session
...............................Row1..Row2..Row3..Row4..Row5..Row6..Row7..Row8
Track1----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )
Track2----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )
Track3----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )
Track4----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )
Track5----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )
Track6----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )
Track7----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )
Track8----HziLooper ( Loop1 Loop2 Loop3 Loop4 Loop5 Loop6 Loop7 Loop 8 )

I would like the ability to assign the same midi command to each row, so that multiple loopers can start the loop at the same time. So, for example, selecting the midi command for Row1 starts Row 1 for all HziLooper loopers regardless of how many loopers are there. Likewise, selecting the midi command for Row5, for example, would start all Row 5 loopers, regardless of how many HziLoopers there are. And so on and so forth... I could have HziLooper on just 4 tracks, or on 20 tracks, but each looper starts and plays in sync when the looper row is selected.

I hope this makes sense. :)

I don't know if this is already possible or not, but I'd also like to be able to select ahead. So, for instance, when Row1 is currently playing, I'd like to be able to select the next row that would play when Row1 completes. So, for example, if I had Row2 playing, and selected Row4, then as soon as Row 2 finishes, Row4 would start playing.

I hope this makes sense. :)

Also, I don't know if this is already possible or not, but I would like to be able to mute/unmute each item manually, so that when I play a row, the muted tracks won't play, unless I unmute them.

I hope this makes sense. :)

In the end, it makes HziLooper a live production playground, where a single user can play all instruments on his/her own, and make and perform a whole song, from playing the midi command for each row's midi command.

It does already have the ability to play a loop as a one shot, and then stop playing that loop, right?

nope, 1 shot mode is not implemented atm. There are midi options (check them.on file menu) for chromaticaly playing all loops with keys - also a "trigger" mode for your white keys. Mute and Solo each is also available. Somehow performative, but not really synced triggering.

But i know what you mean now, i already thought of optional more loop circles per track (you can iterate between them) , to make even 1 instance of hzilooper super performative and flexible. But this is the funny part, you are not limited in Instances, yeah, could also drop 8 Plugin Instances and similar result. It would break somehow my 1 Interface Window Idea, but also those implementations wouldnt be destructive to this. Many ways to use it🙂
so...
- Optional Radio Button toggling for Track 1-8 triggers
- "play next" toggle.
Makes Sense, think i can implement it. Mute Solo is already available per track🙂
