Not really. Something graphical and electronic. A much better sounding guitar for synthwave, for example.
Oh, I thought Plucked! sounded acoustic? anyway I open it up and yea, it sounds more electronic.
It doesn't particularly sound like a guitar of any kind. It sounds like something trying to emulate the overall vibe of a string being plucked, so it's at most guitar-adjacent. It doesn't sound like any guitar (or bass) that I've ever played. Which is a lot of guitars/basses :D

I do like Sakura. Not so much because it sounds authentic, but because it sounds good and is quite versatile. You can get some decidedly weird sounds out of it that sound nothing like an actual string instrument; and get close enough to the vibe of lots of string instrument to have its place. Much like there's something to be said for using keyboard strings on a certain type of pop song. That doesn't sound like an orchestra either, but it totally fits the vibe/genre.

Or just like electric organ through a distortion pedal doesn't sound like a traditional organ, but sure as hell sounds cool in the right context!

So maybe not ideal for solo violin on an orchestra piece (though I'd rate it better than Plucked! as guitar), but absolutely usable for background synthy pads and a stand in for a violin that's less prominent in the mix - provided you put the effort into programming a more nuanced performance. I'll sometimes mix Kontakt strings with Sakura - I really like the results on the right track.

I liked Sakura right from the first time I heard it and had to buy it. I've been thinking recently of buying some other plugin as it's been a while since I've spent some money in the Imagine Line store.

Edit: Didn't have as much as I thought so bought some preset packs for FLEX and Poizone. I don't think presets count as plugins :(

You can watch the video on YouTube as well.
Yeah its quite good. A bit too formulaic and generic for my taste so I'm not the best to make a commentary. Besides, I'm brushing up on my soprano and treble recorders at the moment, (FLEX: Essential Pianos accompaniment) and revising my 6/8 time signature. It's been a while! So yeah, pretty far from the EDM groove.
It is well produced bravo

It would've been nice to know what plugins you used. :)

FLEX Essential Pianos sound great!

I used Harmless for the majority, with Sytrus being used for a lead layer and the kick and snare

That's terrific.
It sounds like you're using your own templates from a small list - that I'm sure will grow and expand with time. You have a good ear for production and I do hope you keep at it. Wait until you're old enough to get out and about on the clubbing scene where you'll hear (and feel through the souls of your feet) dance music up close and personal. And who knows what new plugins there'll be then for making music real.

Thanks! I just started out at a very young age (I think I was 11-12 when I started, and I turn 16 next month, so about 4 years ago).
And I made the kick and snare too. Basically I don't use presets, it wouldn't be as fun if I did.

Yea I know I did. I was doing like a late (a month and 2 weeks late) April Fools joke back then (cuz I was making music in April Fools). I'm a big fan of loyalty (e.g. I've been quite loyal here since January, and I'm moving on to a different forum in September)
