Ah, I thought that's what you meant. Must have misread it.SideChainKid wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 6:43 pm Iirc it’s their soft clipper sound, both in their channels and on the master. They have a certain sound that’s pretty much industry standard for urban type beats. It’s especially beneficial for 808 heavy drums etc. Orange clip comes close but in a test it doesn’t null fwiw.

I don't really create GUIs, so I wouldn't know, but linking everything with formulas isZeisner wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 9:41 pm I'm torn between creating custom GUIs (Dashboard/Surface) and being able to link everything with formulas. I like both equally.

By the way, I’m working on a new remix. In the meantime, you can download Hemsworth on SoundCloud. https://soundcloud.com/hipster-bales/hemsworth

I highly recommend trying it out. Combined with formula-based automation links it makes FL Studio twice as good. Instead of having to bring up hundreds of plugins you can control everything from a few GUIs. Really cool for creating advanced sound design and mixing environments. It's a lot of work to make it but saves countless hours later on.

I mean, there is Patcher, and I've used that quite a few times. Thanks for the suggestionZeisner wrote: Fri May 01, 2026 11:12 pmI highly recommend trying it out. Imagine controlling hundreds of plugins in different Patcher instances from one Surface GUI. That's what I'm talking about. But it takes time to learn and come up with a concept. It's almost like building your own little DAW inside FL Studio.

I am sure Fruity is awesome. But that is the state of this modern technology, right?

For me it’s the overall workflow.
FL Studio really encourages creativity and experimenting. It feels very fast and intuitive when sketching ideas, especially for EDM production.

Awesome! also what I really like about FL is their stock plugins, and Lifetime Free UpdatesLordDivine wrote: Thu May 21, 2026 7:52 am For me it’s the overall workflow.

For me, the piano Roll is definitely one of the best feautures in FL studio it's so fluid and intuitive compared to other DAWs especially for programming complex chords or fast trap hi-hass. it realy speeds up the workflow
