Same here, but Wayland sucks
I don't have any problems whatsoever with Wayland and XWayland. I know the industry is still on X11, but I really haven't seen any dealbreakers with Wayland.

Mint is in first place, Ubuntu is in second place, and Debian is in third place. So far, the numbers agree with with statistics, which say that the Debian family (which includes Ubuntu and its derivatives) is the most popular distros in the world. 🙂

I hesitated to move from Ubuntu Studio because of its low latencykernal. But I shouldn't have worried; Debian Trixie with x11 is leaner, very stable and just as - if even more - more cpu efficient.

Running Bitwig. Renoise and *most* of my favourite VSTs via yabridge.

I'm very pleased with it.

I distrohop between Arch and Artix.

How do you like Artix? :)

UPDATE: None of the above at the moment.

I'm back on Windows 11 Pro for the sake of practicality and convenience, after a year or two of incompatibilities involving WINE, yabridge, and JUCE8 -- and the lack of iLok support -- which have made many of my paid commercial apps and plugins useless (some in the digital-art domain, not just music-making).

However, I do still prefer round chicken nuggets -- the plain ones, so that I can season them to taste for whatever moment, and I prefer the ones from Dutch Farms, because they have a lot less sat fat than other brands (last time I checked).

I still use Linux with EndeavourOS (and KDE Plasma this time), specifically for running Elder Scrolls Online through Steam -- because it's 3x faster to restore the game and my addons and settings from an rsync backup on Linux than to download the whole thing again on Windows, plus that makes me a better net-neighbor.
