It’s not entirely without basis, though. Official inquiries have confirmed real grooming/CSE scandals and serious police/local authority failures.

That said, the report’s bigger numbers and broad claims about religion/ethnicity need much stronger evidence.

There may or may not be a case for having a rational, emotion-free debate. Personally, I'm inclined to disagree - but posting some hate-filled non-music isn't going to spark a rational debate, IMO. I'd venture to suggest that wasn't the OP's intention either.
By the way, I'm all for free speech and all, but why is this thread even still here?

The report is a partisan hack job entirely intended to stir up racial hatred and conveniently for its sponsors ignores things like rape in churches or any organised rape gangs operating around care homes that have non-south Asian perpetrators (and which have been going on for decades - Jerry Sadowitz wound up junking an LP of his material back in the 80s because of a monologue about this that mentioned Jimmy Savile).

I’m not defending the report as a whole, and I agree it’s probably heavily amplified and one-sided in parts.

I was more reacting to the idea that the entire subject is just made up. There have been documented cases, and official reviews have found serious failings in how authorities handled them.

Regardless of where information comes from, I try to look at the actual evidence rather than dismissing it purely because of the source. A biased report can still contain some valid points, just as valid concerns can be framed in a misleading way.

I'm not dismissing the report because of where it's come from but because it's a hack job. There are other reports but for some reason you think this one is worthwhile. Hmm.
