BeatFlux by Axart Labs: A groovebox with a fast ideas generator (Mac, AU/VST3)

Hey all,

We just dropped BeatFlux: a groovebox that can also generate beat ideas in different styles (at the moment hip-hop/trap, techno, drum'n'bass and hybrid).

It contains a built-in audio engine and sounds (you can also import your own), real-time mutation, 3 global effects and you can drop audio and MIDI with directly to your DAW.

pekbro turned me on to their other software, AutoBeat, and I've been using it regularly for the past year. My only issue with it is that the patterns tend to be pretty same-y, and so far I'm having the same issue with Beatflux, if not worse since it has fewer genres and not a lot of samples.

With that said, AutoBeat is a great plugin and they seem to be a great company, and BeatFlux is working excellently in my system.

Thank you so much for the feedback - it is greatly appreciated! We tried to focus -on BeatFlux- on fewer genres for more controlled/variety of the generated beats (within the genre). We do plan to add more samples and improve the beat idea generator in the coming version.

It's nice if you're like me and your loops get monotonous. So far, I'm liking using it to randomize duration and velocity, those give nice variety without being as chaotic as the pitch and beat randomizations.
