As well as working in the music industry, I'm a software developer (mobile apps, web applications) - so a natural step was to start creating my own plugins
The first one is called the Janski Compressor, and is a so-called "musical" soft-knee compressor with a nice saturation stage.So here are some specs:
* Soft-knee feed-forward compression (9db knee)
* Auto-release: quick on transients and slow on sustains
* Sidechain high-pass (~70 Hz)
* Mojo - the "flavor" knob. A 2x oversampled asymetric saturator, coupled to the gain reduction
* Random "walks" seeded randomly per instance - so no two instances sound the same
* Latency-compensated Mix knob
* True auto-gain, RMS matched to the threshold, ratio, attack, Mojo and Mix
But specs aside - you need to try it for yourself to see if it's sounding good
