Could someone walk me thru how a couple of the presets were made. I cannot figure out the modulation for the life of me, and having to click every parameter to check for the corresponding xmod entry, if there is one, is not really helping. Thanks.

1. Sequence of the Old School, how is the first note of the sequence longer?
2. The Long Haul, it generates a pitch without pressing a key.
3. Square Dance, same.

Assuming these aren' tbugs or glitches

1. Sequence of the Old School, how is the first note of the sequence longer?

Above the keyboard is a KEY <-> ARP/SEQ switch, then you'll see note length knobs for each step.

2. The Long Haul, it generates a pitch without pressing a key.
3. Square Dance, same.

Beneath the VCA ATTACK is a LOOP switch, set to RETRIG.

I forgot how nice sounding this synth is!

Gforce seem to be constantly having sales. I had to unsubscribe from emails today, way too much spam

I've got most of their stuff and never get emails from them. Maybe I opted out at some point.
I don't think they really have any more sales than the average though.

They're still on version 1.0. Dang. I reported a very serious bug with OB-1 almost a year ago (huge sustained DC offset output, well over 0.0db, when switching between certain delay FX settings, easy to trigger) and they acknowledged it but still haven't fixed it. I like this synth, but look out for that kind of thing. Frustrating they won't just release an update that fixes it.

Yeah, a lot of companies seem to be doing the same. It drives me nuts and I've unsubscribed from heaps of them. I think GForce, Ujam and Heavyocity are the worst offenders. I already own as much of their stuff as I am ever going to want - half-a-dozen GForce synths and more than 20 products each from Ujam and Heavyocity but because they are so relentless with their spamming, I won't know about new products any more and it's the companies who will miss out, not me.

Aren't the note length knobs for velocity? There is one knob (before the row of individual knobs in the sequence) that controls note lenght, otherwise what's the point of it saying velocity next to that knob?

The sequencer is bizarrely laid out and unfortunately Gforce is very bad at explaining things IMO

How do you upgrade to the Oberheim collection? I have most of them apart from this and a couple more but the shop doesn't seem to recognise what I own already.

It`s sadly the new way to go... since some years. Some platforms like APD, i got up to 8 emails on a single day
