Hello, thanks for asking - still analysing the final price, but for sure it will be a fair one in the mid double digits rangestarflakeprj wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2026 10:04 pm Any idea regarding the price for the full version when it has been released?

Since the vast majority of betatesters are Ableton Live users, i've focused this first beta on the instrument version - otherwise, Ableton Live won't even show it. The instrument version is agnostic and works on all DAW's. Later I will tackle the issue and make it available also as MIDI FX, but for now it is functional with MIDI routing.

Any chance to add possibility for adjusting parameter value with your keyboard up/down buttons, once you've first clicked on the parameter with mouse? Many plugins have this, as some of the generative parameters would seem to be best adjusted one by one.
By the way, this is really incredibly good! Will buy this once available. I haven't found any flaws, apart from the manual not yet existing in public.

Thanks, just tried it that way and it's working great. I was using Element to do it before, which also works, but your way is easier.valdlabs wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 4:20 pm Since the vast majority of betatesters are Ableton Live users, i've focused this first beta on the instrument version - otherwise, Ableton Live won't even show it. Does this allow us to record our own sequences via midi ? by playing them in ,like does it record our midi input ?

not for now, as the main purpose is not really to record human-generated melodies, but to create new ones mathematically - on the other hand, you have the capability to manually change the generated notes (and also the mod lane automations) for finetuning, just not yet with a keyboard or midi controller, just with a mouse on the interface!trusampler wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 7:06 pm Does this allow us to record our own sequences via midi ? by playing them in ,like does it record our midi input ?
I'll add the capability for midi note and CC input at a later stage, since the codebase to support it is already there. Thanks for the input

First of all, a warm thank you for the amazing feedback, that kind of insight is what makes all of the work be worth it in the endplanet_b wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 4:54 pm Any chance to add possibility for adjusting parameter value with your keyboard up/down buttons, once you've first clicked on the parameter with mouse? Yes, i'll definitely add that one to the next version - it makes total sense as some of the algorithms are extremely sensitive and you risk losing some great patterns when tweaking the knobs.
For now, in case you haven't tried it yet, you can finetune by pressing shift+drag - not the same level of precision as using the keyboard for single value browsing, but helps!

glad it worked out! i'll make sure to keep MIDI FX on the list for future updates.Uncle E wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 6:18 pmThanks, just tried it that way and it's working great. Sure! I’m aiming for an indie-friendly price, likely around €49–€69 - with active beta users like you getting an early discount

Thanks everyone — the clearest feedback so far is Mac install/routing clarity, drum-oriented sequencing, MIDI input/mutation, and finer parameter stepping with keyboard.
I’m prioritising fixes (such as the view resetting to channel 1 on VST hide & show) and support docs first, then MIDI controller input and drum workflow - which is the biggest update of the bunch.
Please let me know if you find any other bugs / features to add, and remember i'll be rewarding your input with a nice discount on launch. Just let me know your email with which you register on the beta by PM and i'll make sure to send you a code when it goes commercial.

Small things that would improve my workflow.. just my personal thoughts, ymmv as always.
More clear indication on what channel you are currently at, also highlight the outline of the channel box from the top row? For me it seems pretty subtle indication now (especially if you'd have the full 16 channel thing going).
When a lane is inactive but there are notes/bars on it, I think it would be best if the colors would fade even darker, now it's sort of easy to miss that the lane is actually disabled.
Ability to lock the density parameter. I've learned that the algorithm parameters adjust the density at the same time, but it's sort of annoying that if you have come up with a nice pattern which is pretty dense, then adjusting one algo related knob can bring it to 100% density (thank god for the undo btw!).
The biggest confusion without the manual for me has been the note length, how do you actually adjust that? There's the "tie" which can sustain notes, and you can modulate length from other lanes, but I have no idea on how to manually tweak..
If the scale names were full on the list where you choose them from, but shortened on the UI. (confusion with the short names)
Global transpose of the base note and scale selection for all channels.

Wow this is amazing but it's a lot! (I mean that in the best way possible!)
Is there any documentation available?
I'm trying to make my way around it and getting to grips with it but there's a lot going on.
One thing immediately drew my attention is that I didn't realise that some menus were scrollable! Maybe the scoll bars could be a little brighter to indicate such.
In the note sequencer is there a way of changing individual pitches without toggling the step's on/off status?
An Init all control would be useful too (sorry if it's there and I missed it)
Possible bugs:
I'm trying to automate the chord type with a sequencer but the lowest value in a control sequencer when applied to a chord is Major. Could it be changed so the lowest value is no chord?
On Ableton Live (latest version), Tahoe 26.5.1 it seems to lose sync halfway through bar 6. It's like it skips a step. This is 100% repeatable.
Tie is called Trail in the drop down menu. Also Tie doesn't seem to work in the way I expect ie. Tied notes shouldn't retrigger the envelope. (I'm using Serum 2)
All in all, incredible work, instabuy when it's released.

Yeah I'm in on this when it's released. Love the one-sequencing style-fits-all approach.
