Hi! Not a dumb question! We now set all tonal loops to the same scale. There will be a feature coming where we will look at what note a sample is placed on and pitch to that accordingly.

Post

Ah, so currently, if you have a full set of different one-shot synth samples mapped to every key - when you play a chord, it'll not play as a chord? But instead the notes will play at the same pitch?

Post

Yes, because there can also be samples with chords on those keys as well, so we try to make all samples work great together. We have done this before, but we were not so blown away with the use case and results. We were quite rushed back then, so that is why it is on the menu to revisit and implement again. We have already finished the UI sketches for it.

Ok! Well I've been looking at the chromatic mapping on the manual. Would you be able to map one octave of slots to one sample set to play chromatically, then another sample for the next octave etc. And then hitting "rando" would flip these chromatically mapped ones to new ones?

Post

no that is currently not possible as we don't support multiple zones on the keyboard as of yet. We do have chromatic mode, but that is for one sample.
