What it is: a full British console channel strip. Mic pre with input-transformer drive, high and low-pass filters, a musical 4-band EQ, compressor and gate.

How it's modeled: it runs on an engine I call PCCN. Instead of approximating the sound with a fixed saturation curve, an impulse response, or a neural capture, it's built from the actual circuit: the real transformer, transistor and VCA stages, taken from the schematics. The transformer's magnetic hysteresis is solved in real time; the amplifier and VCA stages are the exact solution of their real circuits. I'm not claiming this is magic, serious circuit modeling exists from bigger names too. The point is that the behavior comes from the physics, so it reacts to level and drive the way hardware does, across settings, not just where it was measured.

So try it: there's a free demo on the page (fully functional, with a short noise burst every couple of minutes). Drop it on a vocal, a drum bus, or the mix, and A/B it against whatever you reach for now. If it's not for you, no hard feelings.

I'll be around in this thread. Questions, criticism, feature requests all welcome. If something sounds off on your material, tell me, I'd genuinely like to know.
