New version today. 1.0.4. (it is available on the account page)
The star of the show is the new MPE mode (basically click the unusable logo til it goes red, and the MPE is much more natural and simple than it used to). The pressure control is interacting with the amp envelope to give continuous control polyphonically. Higher velocity generate attack transients so it feels quite expressive, if I am allowed to say so myself. I've tuned it so it feels nice on seaboards, osmoses and the polybrute 12 in MPE mode. The slide/cc74 is just controlling the cutoff in this mode. A cool thing is to combine it with cc4 / foot control for sweeping the slots when the sequencer is turned off (I made a short video showing off that on the YouTube channel).
The second thing in 1.0.4 worth mentioning is patch versioning. If you turn it on in the bottom of the patch browser, clicking save no longer overwrites a patch, but adds an incrementing number to the patch name / file name.
There is a news post on the site with more thorough release notes:
https://www.unusable.net/news/partials- ... 04-update/
And here is a video showing of the new MPE mode with effects from the full suite v2:
All the Best,
Rasmus

Just turn off versioning in the patch browser. And it works again

Thanks. I had to check... Roland EV-5. I've had it forever but never really used it. I am not great at wah wah playing, so neither at this.Old Norse wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2026 11:24 am Just... unbelievably gorgeous sounds!
PS.: Which pedal are you using as a CC controller?

Haha. I put it there with the thought that someone might notice.tq wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2026 11:10 am Oh no, you put a cup of coffee on the keyboard!![]()
Careful, accidents happen, and coffee never goes well with electronics.![]()
Nice version, need to try with my Erae.

A smaller update today to 1.0.5.
1. The partial nodes are a bit smoother to move.
2. A new play mode has been added to the slot sequencer. I got a great request to have the possibility to play through the slots and stop at the last. Kind of like how you can use kbd->reset and kbd->next in combination when the clocking is off, and let the slew time control the sweep from slot 1 to slot 2.
So I actually didn't have a special function hooked to that combination when clocking is on. Well, now I do.
When you have kbd->reset and kbd->next active and either internal or host clock, the slot sequencer will run through once following the tempo.
It works with the different autostep modes, so in pendulum it returns to the start, while normal ends at the last step, etc...
I dunno how much I will use this myself, but it opens up to some types of sounds that wasn't possible before, and it is quite cool to shape transients in percussive sounds as the internal stepping goes up to 96Hz.
I will make a video and a news post for the website about the new mode tomorrow, as I got stuck cleaning up some messy reusable objects in my codebase today... (the joys of summer cleaning
)
If you wanna try it before, it is already available on your account page.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, I dimmed up the Unusable MPE button a little bit and the voice lanes, for people with lower contrast screens, I hope it can be seen now.
All the Best,
Rasmus
