With features like that its only the price (its bound to be more than I can afford) thats stopping me switching to a workstation only set up, as long as it runs silent (no fans). I would be willing to sacrifice a cartain amount of features and compatability for the sake of the sheer conveniance an all in one workstation could give.

Rumor has it around $6,000 - $8,000 -- don't know if that's street or MSRP prices...90909 wrote:With features like that its only the price (its bound to be more than I can afford) thats stopping me switching to a workstation only set up, as long as it runs silent (no fans). What, no Physical Modelling!
I thought with the OASYS name it would be an update to there PCI Card.
Still looks good though for what is essentially 3 synths in one. But it sure is Ugh-ly.

I'll wait for the rack version.
I'll just struggle away with my NS5r and Oasys PCI in the meantime.

not that I'm really their target... but I have yet to see anything (outside of the fusion 6hd which will most likely be overpriced) that has really peaked my interest at NAMM.. well at least so far..

My whole studio costs less than that one, and is far more flexible. This smells like 90's, but it's nice to see somebody's still making "workstations" and I must admit it looks very sexy.
