Company Unlocks Next Phase of Innovation by Removing the Innovators.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

In the case of TC Electronic they were already in financial distress and had been for sale for a year when they were acquired by Music Tribe a decade agosimon.a.billington wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2026 9:27 am To. y understanding, they've been in Denmark for the longest time. It's a shame that "saving a few dollars" always ends up overriding the soul of anything worthwhile.
I guess things could be worse though.
All of those jobs would have been lost long ago without it

Doesn't surprise me. TBH I thought TC was dead and buried a while ago, not sure why Tribe even bought them. I haven't seen anything TC for ages - even the Behringer mixers use KlarkTeknik FX rather than TC, which I thought might be a good fit. Did TC even have any employees left, and if they did - were they making anything relevant any more?

The X series mixers and the Wing both have the TC Electronic D-Two multi-tap delay unit algos inside of them. It's called "Delay + Chorus" in the X series mixerskritikon wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2026 11:49 pm Doesn't surprise me. On every channel on Behringer mixers has an gate and expander. Those are all TC algos
Also the DSP engineers at TC were instrumental on all of the effects for the X series mixers
