The tempo could be bumped out about 20-30 BPM, apart from that it's good.

I don't really think this is hiphop nor too fast. In fact, you can slow it down a tiny bit.

"rootbit": Features drums and piano; it’s somewhat minimalist — it doesn't
just explode right out of the gate. In that sense, it’s really nice. I don't
think it's too slow. After all, the real art lies in creating a slow song while
still highlighting that certain "something."

Overall: Nice song. I wouldn't pin it down to a specific genre. The song is
fun!
