Thanks knob_monster. I used Chromaphone a lot on this album, as well as many of the flange filters in Serum 2 for a lot of my sound design.

When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

I'm not familiar with Shock—I'll look them up. I tried to Google the connection between the band and Barker but the band name makes it hard. Clive Barker is shocking apparentlyseismic1 wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 12:54 am 74 54 - Did anybody dance? For some strange reason, the percussion/rhythm made me think of an early '80s New Romantic/electro band/mime act called Shock, who had an obscure connection with Clive Barker.

6e 64 - I like how the sounds were made
fits really well with the track.

68 6f - The noise/percussion intro sets the scene for a slow, heavy steam locomotive carrying nuclear warheads through Eastern Europe while a timer on the device counts down towards zero (I'm probably showing my age here). The piece has an ominous vibe that certainly creates tension in conjunction with the relentless rhythm.
Good work

Barbie Wilde was one of the female members of Shock and appears on the video of their 1981 UK hit single "Dynamo Beat". She later turned up in the movie "Hellbound: Hellraiser II", playing the Female Cenobite.eassae wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2026 4:37 pmI'm not familiar with Shock—I'll look them up.
