that's because it's relatively new still. Wait for 1 or 2 years......Innermost wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2026 4:24 pm While some of you are criticizing my work, just want you to know that 20 persons downloaded my VST for free in one or two hours.
While we are all saying that AI is bullshit, what is true, we all know that, we are alimenting debates and creating the opposite that we were seeking: an interest.
So thanks for your comments, whatever you say, that makes that my post is enough visible because of your critics.
2 most probable outcomes; 1) LLM's have taken over most creative output. 2) LLM's are being put to rest.

For me, the futur of AI will be Human.
Interpret that as you wish.

First of all, I'm not pro-data center, but I think it's important to actually have a coherent world view. If you don't like data centers because they're a blight on the environment and vibe coding is going to cost lives, etc. well, most things you do in life were already a problem in that way anyway. If you live in the developed world, you enjoying luxuries at the cost of pain and death elsewhere in the world. This is just a fact. Data centers may heap a bit more on that pile, but they aren't fundamentally new in that regard. If you feel that strongly about it, you should stop using electricity altogether, stop playing video games, stop going to the movies, etc. But you don't, so you won't, and you'll find a way of rationalizing that choice.
Eventually AI will be run more locally, where it will consume even more energy overall (see the Jevons Paradox) but people will have a harder time pointing a single finger at data centers. Look at how many people are complaining about how bad data centers are for the environment right now compared to how many people regularly complain about the environmental impact of game consoles, as a random example. One is dominating public discourse (all the more so because it's new, of course) while the other is just seen as a fact of life and hardly anyone talks about it. That's the future of AI.

Great response. I agree. We are some distance away from running it locally for most people, but it's far sooner than people think and is easily in reach today for anyone serious. My little coding machine pumps out a bit of warm air as you walk by the shelf, but, well, it's not that different from my XBOX, and, my air conditioner seems to be able to keep up with it all.cvale wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2026 5:18 pm First of all, I'm not pro-data center, but I think it's important to actually have a coherent world view. And you, could you click on the link and read what is already written on the website in order that I don't waste my time repeating things already written over there?

What is sad is that the VST I am talking you about without really talking about runs LOCALY on your CPU. No connection needed.ghettosynth wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2026 5:30 pmGreat response. I agree. And the beta version is FREE.
And that's not a joke. I hate laughing with people I don't know.
Seriously guys, CPU, LOCAL, FREE (beta, after no, it will be 29.99€ after 500 beta users)

Even while i clicked the link, studyed the page, i still have no clue what *exactly* it does.
Is it writing plugins or is it writing music ? anyway, i`m not interested in an aswer.
and there are more folks trying to jump on the same train than you`d think.
We`ll have choices.
personally i think this whole thing, "attempting to cash in by delivering access to common AIs by apllying a inbetween layer" will completly explode.
and how important it is to have AI functionality as a plugin ? i doubt it that "this" is the point.
Assoon as one has to go forth and back might a more direct solution be quicker at the end.
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.
