Yes, another Jupiter-8 emulation, but this one's modeled on a worn-out unit (free beta)

No PayPal option...
Just went through using a CC on another purchase that ended up in subsequent fraudulent charges being made and having to close down that account because of it. Not saying this would be the same, but letting you know I'm not currently willing to even take a chance without PayPal protection.

Again, PayPal isn't something I offer, and won't be, after a very bad experience with them. I've stated that countless times before. The listed payment methods are what I support, and if none suit you, that's fine.

I'm a one-person operation with a normal day job, so what's on offer is what I can realistically manage. Suggestions are welcome; demands usually can't get a hearing. Where something's missing, there's normally a reason behind it, and I'd rather not rehash it on every post.

Mostly though, I'd prefer this stay about the music. If you've run the plugins, I want to hear how they sound to you — what worked, what didn't, and if you've had a chance to compare them to the real hardware, what your impressions were. That's the conversation I'm interested in.

All I was presented with is a CC payment. What other methods should I be seeing there?

I'm probably not keeping this EightyEight part (I want to do something funkier with the beat) but it's so pleasant sounding that I figured I'd post it:

None. Payment is handled via CC.

The plural is why I asked. We obviously have no meeting of the minds here and I'll just leave the thread to your wishes for it.

Thank you for answering.

sounds pretty cool! love it!

EightyEight is essentially finished (except for the arpeggiator, which will land in a release over the next few days), and the plugin will remain free for as long as the pay-what-you-want model can sustain it. From here I'd rather my plugins simply be judged on how they sound — give them a listen, and if the sound works for you, great; if not, no hard feelings.
Sincere thanks to everyone who's supported the work these past two years and given honest feedback along the way, it's meant a lot. I'll be spending my time working on my third album rather than posting from now on. If you run into problems or bugs, please use the ticket system in the support section of my homepage.

I’m not seeing anything about paying $10, it says free.

So will this license stop working when it’s released?

This is confusing, lol 😂

On the website it says:
"Any contribution of $10 or more grants you a lifetime license, should future releases become paid. Note that older versions may stop working once newer ones are released."

Yes. Enter $0 as the price there (or enter $10 if you want to receive a license).
