This explains a lot
That's what I said in a previous message.

Some examples?

Thanks for your messages guys. I now have 508 users on my platform because of the visibility you help me to have by not stoping to comment. And the first traffic source of my website is kvraudio.com this last days.

Aren't Arturia and Modartt also French companies?
Seems like a compliment then.

Okay, I figured out some basics but I have a few questions.

1. I have 8 loops going. How do I export each one to audio?

2. When I hit my Cubase Transport control, each loop only plays for 1 bar. How do I make it play for the whole sample?

3. Sometimes a loop will play at random spots within the bar. What causes this and how do I stop it and start it, if that's what I want?

That's all for now.

1. You can drag and drop sounds in your daw directly or look on the top left panel, switch on the sample bank view (by clicking on the button with the folder icon), all your samples are saved here.
2. Have you pressed play on the play button on the mixers? What did you do in order that I could redo the same thing as you in my daw? In fact I don't use Cubase, so perhaps that's a transport logic different from Bitwig or Ableton. Even if that would be strange, Steinberg being the VST creators, and using JUCE on my side.
3. Have you pressed on the "scat" button on a track?

When I press the play button on the VST itself, it plays all the way through the sample. But when I hit the Cubase transport, it starts to play, gets through 1 bar and then goes back to the beginning of the sample. Very strange.

I don't even know where the scat button is but yeah, I might have because I've been hitting a lot of buttons just to see what this thing does. I'll tell you. a users manual would be great because this thing is deep. I feel like I've fallen into black hole.

Also, what if I create a new prompt, say "Disco drum beat, 4 on the floor kick"? Does it create a new sample or just use what's already on the disk? If a new sample, where does it store it?

If you do end up finding it, be very careful :scared:

Haha for the manual I know 😅 will have to work on that one day instead of adding features and features, as I think you know (if you don't that's... Well... Weird) I don't like such corporate things that making documentation 😅 But apparently I have to grow up a bit, 40 is a good age for that they say.

So, for you issues.
I you create a new prompt it simply create a new prompt. When you create it, when you save it, it select on the left panel. Then you drag and drop on the target track you want the sound to be generated, and then you click on the generate button.
All samples are in C:\Program Files\OBSIDIAN-Neural\AudioCache and an other folder, I let you check that in your computer.

Okay, where is the generate button? I've never had to clock on ot to get the samples to load and play. I just select the box and drag the prompt into it.

Now, does my new prompt create a new sample when I click generate or just use something that's already on the disk?

The generate button is the button at the right of each track, with a lightning icon and GEN words under.
Ok, social pressure won, tomorrow I make a tutorial video. You're far from the lone who want to understand how all that works 😅
