Hey all, Carlos here, Meow Seq developer. I just came across this thread, really glad Meow Seq made it into the conversation and thank you to those who gave it a proper look!

I know the plugin looks like a toy plugin at first glance so I'm really glad you guys gave it a try, because I'm a modular enthusiast and the functionality has always been the top priority. I wanted to create a plugin that takes some of the more time-consuming patches I often lean towards where multiple sequencers are running in and out of phase with each other, but deliver it in a more performative, simple and FAST to use experience. This is also one of the reasons for the big buttons which are easy to hit quickly with just the mouse. Not sure if the cute theme is helping me that much but I tried to make it so it's not a distraction for the workflow, but still catches some attention.

For the question on automation of the start/stop button, I made a tutorial video which explains the intended workflow where you can use phrase mode to start and stop the sequencer with incoming MIDI notes. I will look into the bugs of MIDI output stopping though, I'm really grateful for the feedback.

The automation of the patterns is also addressed in the video (in the bank section). It's not the most intuitive way of handling pattern automation so it's worth checking the video for that if you are confused. I'm open to suggestions as well.

And since it came up earlier, the intro price is still running through the end of July for anyone who missed it.
