Up until now I used Claude Sonnet in free tier to make some small AI slop plugins, for example an Ableton Resonator Clone. These all took a while of back and forth testing, but over the weekend I decided to spend 20 bucks and have a go with Claude Fable in its last days of being in the Pro Tier without having to buy tokens for it. It pretty much one-shotted a modular VST inspired by the Nord Modular G2. I gave it instructions on how I want the GUI to look like and that I want feedback mechanisms and stuff. I then asked it to make a technical documentation like a the G2 had with mutating presets and so on first before it actually made the thing. A few tweaks and additions later -barely any bugfixing needed - and it produced an amazing, simple but versatile sounddesign tool. The project spans a few dozen files, two files per module in the synth, from Oscillators, Samplers, a Granular Engine to Spring Reverbs, Resonators and Filters. No reinvention of the wheel, but such a versatile and simple to use tool didnt exist yet as VST afaik. Especially not with the option to route outputs back into inputs and patch mutation for free.

So I know this is pure AI slop, but you might find it interesting, either this product or what the state of the art AI models can give you in the span of a few hours. I made it available free and open source (source code bundled in the download, simply type in $0 at checkout) here :phones:
