This worked pretty well actually. Will have them incoming and maybe I can include some more detailed specs so anyone else can use and agent. That does sound like a good feature request thoughjamcat wrote: Sat Jul 11, 2026 5:19 pm Why not ask your AI agent to create a bank of interesting presets for you?
It should already know the full specs. Or you could provide it with an example preset.
Does Focus Time have a random setting button? If so, that’s a quick way to make a bunch of presets yourself.

Thanks for your support. I figured you'd like some of these things I've been working. You should check out the monster synth I'm building. Better yet make those synths bro, it's absolutely worth the effort. If you are on mac, get xcode to build, juce as the platform and just spend 20 bucks on gpt.morphex wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2026 5:24 pm I’m looking through the list of entries to decide which plugins I’d be willing to install and test. And I see a ton of potential for wildly creative mangling with Focus Time. The description of features included with your YouTube video, states that FT comes with a port of PaulXStretch onboard. That alone makes me want to give this a try.
Fortunately, I just read that you released an AU version for us Logic Pro users. So thank you for that consideration Timothy. In regards to the drama that’s been mentioned in this thread, I’m completely in the dark about the details. And I’m perfectly okay with that, as long as Focus Time meets the standards set by KVR moderators. I trust their judgment.
I think that maintaining fairness and a level playing field, is crucial for a contest that’s open to everyone. Also, I think that most of us already expected several entries that would be considered vibe-coded, or AI-assisted. It would be really cool if we could set aside the infighting around this topic, even if it’s only for the duration of the challenge.
I have my own strong opinions about it. But I would much rather celebrate people’s creativity, and their unique vision for their own software creations. I’ve had several ideas for cool VST’s over the last couple of decades. And I can imagine the excitement of bringing those ideas into fruition. So good luck to everyone involved.![]()

Exactly, if possible that would be really great!Touch The Universe wrote: Sun Jul 12, 2026 7:10 pm…nordickvr wrote: Sat Jul 11, 2026 1:34 pm Found this one quite interesting.
A feature that would be highly appreciated would be adding a “trigger from beginning” option when triggered via midi since at the moment it continues from where it stopped .
Or did I missed something?
And even better, having the option to trigger from any position controlled by the mod wheel!
Not sure what trigger any postion controlled by modwheel, is that selecting a start position in the loop? I can likely make those available in the master section.

Just started watching this now.
If there isn't already, please put a "disengage samples" or "detach samples" (that may be included and saved with it) button in the preset window task bar. This will allow loading a user sample, and individually selecting, or scrolling through the presets sequentially or randomly, to see the effects it will have.
As long as the button is selected, the loaded user sample will not be replaced... AND, a button above the sample window task bar, for "render-in-place" or "render/load copy" of any effected sample, to be able to 'apply' the effect, and simply continue testing various presets, would be pleasantly expedient.
Also a "save incrementally" button in the presets panel, with a user assignable keyboard hotkey to enable, which simply adds a number sequentially to the name of any subsequent saves, on a previously named and currently selected preset.
This is such a common procedure with synths and samplers, that I'm still (after 40+ years) amazed by the number of devs that do not automatically make this task available.
Thank you.
