It is good to hear that I'm not the only one :)

Hmmm, I am in the space for a new EQ, seeing I worry over QRange being abandoned (VST3 won't run in Reason and 2.4 is old tech now).

I have several of these Flab Flitter clones already: khs Slice, ZL EQ, not to mention the five or so tried and dumped in the last month alone: I don't reach for any of them.

I think yours looks pretty from the nice presentation on your site (price seems decent for the spec). The extras are things I do not want. I don't spectral EQ, or any of those FFT novelties. Dynamic is nice in theory - I have it in ZL but I don't reach for it. Volcano amused me in review (for Higher Hz) but again I never reached for it for real work.

I will admit I have been working on an EQ of my own based on real old-school usability - knobs on the bottom and no opening panes that flit about. Just good solid overview stuff. Zero sex appeal, so I probably wouldn't sell one copy at $1.00. People grabbed my free PareQ but despite being on BPB, no chatter as it doesn't feel like a game.

Soooo, I wish you well as your presentation seems really good. But I am not the droid you seek here.

Thanks for the kind words :) When it's out, I hope you'll at least give it a try and see if it fits your needs, even just for the static filters and the dynamics (which are also nice in practice), and maybe you would even grow to like all the spectral novelties, which sometimes come in handy.

Good luck on your own development journey - it's a lot of fun :)

Dynamic EQing can be tremendously helpful - having to change to a different plugin when you find out you need it is no fun, therefor I personally don't really see what's the point of EQs that don't offer it (unless they're built right into the DAW (like Reason's track EQ)).
