Right click the magnifying glass next to the search edit box in the main tag browser > Clear non available volumes
I have the same problem. Magnifying glass is not click-able at Falcon VST and standalone version. So what's the way to reindex the databse?
Look for FalconV2.db in

Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Falcon and delete it, when you open Falcon again it will reindex all libraries.

Note : Deleting FalconV2.db will remove Favorites in Falcon presets browser.

Im fairly new to the UVI ecoystem, and I just picked up that synth anthology 5 because I really appreciate anthology 4, but I keep seeing the same presets in both libraries. Ive contacted UVI but the conversation seems confusing (they dont seem to understand what Im saying?).

For example, I can see the same "Venus Theory" presets in SA4 and SA5. When I click into "synth anthology 5" I expect to see those presets, but Im seeing a mixed up list and its frustrating me as I try to audition the new presets and synths. Anyone else see this?

Anthology 5 includes previous "anthology" libraries so of course you are going to see ones that are familiar. UVI is a French company (in France) and as typical for French companies (like DxO) they don't care to understand.

I dont quite understand. Why would previous content be included with the latest content? Would this include duplicated sample and file resources, or are these just references to presets from the other library? This is genuinely confusing, French or not French lol.

Im literally trying to use the library view to select a library and view the content within it. Last thing I want is for other presets to be mixed in as Im trying to audition new content. I began to hear similarities in exactly that manner, which caused me to look closer at the names, and then I realized many were the same.

17 of the 21 presets for Venus Theory in Synth Anthology 5 are the same as Anthology 4.
When I load each identical preset from each library, I see the heading change from SA4 to SA5, with all new controls -- are these the same presets, or is there a new version in SA5?? This is odd.

the bollocks or Nirvana?
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Version 5 is a totally new and different plugin from version 4.

So version 4 will sit happily along side version 5 on your hard drive.

With version 5 they didn't worry about backwards compatibility with version 4. So if you have version 4 already and have old projects you might want to launch again, by leaving version 4 installed when you launch those version 4 will fire right up and work and sound exactly the same

With version 5 they moved over the presets and the sample libraries from earlier versions. Which is handy as it allows you to uninstall version 4 if you don't care about old projects that may have used them. And if course for people who don't own version 4 and are starting from version 5 all of the presets are available to them

For me I happily uninstalled version 4, and now just have the new version 5. Any presets I liked from 4 are still in 5.

Any old projects had the audio tracks printed to WAV files, and if I use something I also autosample it into a Decent Sampler Instrument

If I need to radically tweak, or change something it's a pretty simple matter to just launch Version 5 and redo it

Thanks for this response. Ok, I think I... understand what is happening here, though I dont appreciate it much. This is confusing and I should be able to control the behavior (clicking a filter, for example that shows me ONLY THOSE presets. This isnt difficult, lol, and its bizarre that its so convoluted).

For example, our... friends over at NI (RIP), who have been making Komplete editions since like 2003. When they make a new Komplete 16, 17, 18, etc, they include all previous content from previous editions but they LABEL IT, and they have a specific page on their site that allows you to compare editions, showing you specifically what is new, what is legacy, etc. Nothing is duplicated.

When I peruse new content from a new Komplete library, I know what content is new and what is legacy. As a new UVI Falcon customer (I just bought the whole sonic bundle and a few expansions), this was surprising to me and I would like to see it improved some day. FYI I am not a fan of NI, I just used their Komplete editions as an example.
