RFM Space - Modular Sytem in development

After building loads of modules for Cherry Audio’s Voltage Modular in Java, I took the plunge about 2 weeks ago to start learning C++ and Juce. I’m creating a modular synth framework to hold all my modules and have some interesting functionality that Arturia’s or VCVRack and Voltage Modular versions lack… I’m naming it RFM Space and I am documenting the whole process… here a work in progress image..

Do tell, what functions that are lacking are you going to implement ?

I sense some sarcasm
There are all kinds of things like grouping modules by functions, type or even colour together that I will be implementing.
Also easier editing 'cross'rack'
And I will create global rack modifiers..
I have built the Formant DIY modular back in 1977. And have been working with modular synth software since 2003 or so...
I have built more than 100 modules for Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular and think I have a reasonable idea in the meantime of what I would like to be different in editing these things

Same/same

Yes rj0 - Request for Music is my 'brand' - and I still love to create modules for Voltage Modular, but in some ways it feels very restricted...
By programming my own rack I have already expanded the capabilities of a small sequencer module for instance...
I can just connect one to an other by putting it next to an earlier and the system 'understands' I want to connect them and I can create multi sequencers that way...

Sounds good, especially you mention in another reply auto connecting by proximity

But yes - in this image you can see that the bottom 4 TSEQ modules (small 4 step blocks) are automatically connected just by sitting next to each other and for one 16 step sequence (or less if any step is muted or omitted)
