Thanks brother. It might be a while yet. Seems the preset guy is busy. Urs you hiring? I can test presets, can be short term, like just for this synth and bank. Haha, or maybe there is someone elese unbiased willing to help the urs team out?

Objectively, yes, absolutely. We used more modern algorithms all the way. This was one of the main incentives to rewrite from scratch.

Their base sound isn't the same though. There are certainly tons of presets for Zebra 2 that can't be replicated in Zebra 3, but it is even more difficult to go the other way round. That's why they're separate products.

We will continue to support and maintain Zebra 2, but Zebra 3 is the future.

We get a lot of feedback from sound designers who, once they got the hang of Zebra 3, they couldn't go back to Zebra 2.

New MPE preferences and optional smoothing
New "Global" trigger option for MSEGs
New "Funktional" UI theme with increased contrast on labels (A11y feature)
FMO and Env params can be extended via matrix
Hypercalibrate Time can be controlled via matrix
"Stop All Notes" option (right-click keyboard control)
Win Installer supports ARM now (should run, even if no official Win on ARM support)
Initial drag'n'drop on Linux (experimental)
Lots of little improvements and fixes

Hod do you do glide or portamento in this thing? I've tried modulating pitch with an envelope but it's meh. Any suggestions?

Click "Pitches" on the top left, locate "Glide" on the left half way down, find a knob labelled "Amount" and turn it up.

Thanks Urs. I never noticed that before. I spend most of my time in the middle and bottom of this thing.

quick question, currently I'm marking favorites every preset in orange/ #4 , due to the grey on grey is hard to see ,but I just want to make sure I'm not missing here ,or any u-he synths, is there a simple way to rearrange the favorite colors, like make the orange color #1 ?

Will there be any official tutorials for Zebra3? Or if not, are there any good third-party ones that start with the basics and go from there?

I reached out and sent them but it seems he won't have time to look at them for the next couple of months. A month or two before the release, he also didn't have time to look at anything, so it seems he has his hands full for quite some time, which is not surprising due to how popular the synth is. I was enouraged to make presets, spent dozens of hours on them, but never had them looked at. That is why I was hoping they would get more people to help look at presets. I'm sure he totally is busy, not doubting that, but I'm sure there are lots of folks that could help in this. I'm not complaining. I'm just being very patient while being in problem solving mode

We will of course make tutorials. But it takes an incredible amount of time. I'll probably get back onto it myself some time soon.

I personally enjoy the videos by Marula Music (@MarulaMusic on Youtube, somehow can't link the channel...)

But then, I kind of don't really need to watch many tutorials, I'm sure there are many equally as good ones out there. Maybe we should have a sticky for suggestions?
