Hopefully this will cover what you're after when it comes to easy to adjust harmonic distortionmeloco_go wrote: Sun May 31, 2026 3:20 pm Andy, SSL promotes their BUS+ compressor and among the marketing thing is this statement:
"4K Mode on THE BUS+ authentically reconfigures the VCA from balanced to unbalanced operation, introducing a controllable amount of harmonic distortion that can be precisely dialled in to suit your source and creative intent."
How does GLUE2 operate? Is changing from balanced to unbalanced mode a possibility?

I'm making a few changes to the reset value and enter a text value on controls across Cytomic products and would like some input.
Current behaviour:
- double click in centre of control to popup a text edit box to enter numeric value
- double click on the outer rim of a control to snap to a marked value
- alt + click (mac) or ctrl + click (win) to reset the control to the default value
New behaviour:
- double click in the centre to reset the control to the default value
- double click on the outer rim of a control to snap to a marked value
- right click (secondary click) to popup a text edit box to enter numeric value
This is pretty industry standard now, so I think it's good to change, but I'd like to hear what people think.
Also when resetting to a default value there are two options:
1) reset to what the knob value is when you click "initialise preset"
2) reset to what the knob value is for the default preset for that slot (A or B), which will be the "initialise preset" value unless you have saved a custom "default" preset
Which is best?

Glad to hear about the knob behaviour. It always throws me a bit.
If you save a new default preset, is that not what is loaded when you initialise the preset? Or is that just the first preset loaded when opening the plugin? If it's the latter then reset should load the value stored in the initialise preset, I think. An alternative would be to revert to whatever the stored value of the current preset is.
