It is really good. It's a shame that there seems to be some people who demand the synth be something it isn't, which I think is missing the point. It does what it does really well and is a lot of fun! Not $200 fun, but when on discount, why the hell not?

Ahh..but that's the point...it IS a 200 dollar synth. Expected a tad extra for that kind of money. @99 it is more than finerazornaut wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2026 9:37 am It is really good. That's really good to hear, thank you.BONES wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2026 12:30 am I am absolutely loving it. It is the first time in ages I've spent multiple hours just creating patches, both from scratch and by tweaking some of the factory patches. I think it helps that there's a standalone version because I can just fire it up when I've got a spare 10 minutes and see what I can get out of it. Standalone softsynths are highly under-rated, I reckon. But yeah, it was never a $200 VSTi, that price is just taking the piss.
I've used this to facilitate that, since forever:

That's looking at it arse-backwards. It is what it is, what you should be complaining about is the price, not the product. i.e. It's a fantastic product, the problem is that it is too expensive.exmatproton wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2026 10:17 amAhh..but that's the point...it IS a 200 dollar synth. Do UVI do sales very often? I've not paid them any attention over the years.

Falcon seems to be on sale very regularly, at half price, so it's probably fair to assume that $99 will be the 'real' price of Rumble.BONES wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2026 2:47 pm Do UVI do sales very often? I've not paid them any attention over the years.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

I agree... I think it's a cool bass synth while acknowledging it's limitations compared to other synths. I missed the intro price sadly so I'll wait for a sale.razornaut wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2026 9:37 am It is really good. However, as you pointed out it's not worth $200.

Yesterday there was a sale (14 July, French national holiday), $30 off. When they still had the intro price, and with that discount applied, I would have bought it. But for $ 199, or $169, no thanks.

UVI does sales regularly. Sign up for the newsletter if you're worried about missing one. They won't spam you. New products and sales seem to be the only times they send them (as it should be).
