I just soft-released a free FDTD physical modelling synth.
It solves the wave equation using the finite-difference time-domain method. Took me about 4 years of very occasional development (mostly whenever I was on a long flight / train!). I do a lot of DSP / modelling for work, but in an academic setting (biomedical ultrasound), and audio stuff is just a hobby. This is my first C++ project. Feedback very welcome. And bug reports!
