Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce the release of ByteBeat Boutique, my new instrument inspired by the fascinating world of Bytebeat, where mathematical formulas generate audio.

The goal was to take the classic Bytebeat concept and turn it into a practical musical instrument, adding MIDI control, modulation, filtering, patch management and audio export.

Features include:

Formula editing, randomization and mutation
MIDI pitch tracking
Four assignable macro controls
Four tempo-synced LFOs
Resonant low-pass filter and drive
Patch save/load system (.bbbp)
WAV and AIFF export (Standalone)

Thanks. I took some inspiration by a small DIY synth made by Spherical Sound Society, called Glitch Storm. I use it on almost any live setup I play

I added a 4th knobs, modulation, randomization, mutation, filter... and a bunch of stuff...

it's an easy DIY project, based on Arduino, just some soldering needed. I had to mod it of course

ByteBeat kicks ass! And nice update with the different skins and extra presets. I'm surprised this one hasn't garnered more attention. Are people really that scared of math equations?

I think ByteBeat will eventually have a cult following. For the price everyone here should pick up a copy because it's a no-brainer. It's a steal at both its current sales price and at its regular price - so just get it!
