Finally an I/O insert plugin with PING for ProTools (and many other features).

Anything about hardware musical instruments.

Bonjour everyone!

For those of us working with outboard gear, effect pedals and else, we know how frustrating it could be to have to calculate latency, sandwich our I/O plugin in-between other plugins to make it react differently etc.

That's why I created this I/O plugin:
https://wheelieplugins-debug.github.io/Patchbay/
Patchbay by WheeliePlugins.
AAX, AU, VST3.

Compatibility listed at the bottom of the page.

I work mostly in ProTools. And the I/O insert in ProTools has no PING for latency. Actually it cannot even be bypassed!

Patchbay has a PING (triple calculation for more precision), automations, dry/wet, M/S, Input/Output, gain match, pre-emphasis/de-emphasis EQ, multi-interfaces routing, GUI customization, can monitor through laptop speakers quickly, can record from laptop's mic quickly etc...

It was done first and foremost for my own usage, but I finally decided to share it with everyone else.

Hence why I am sharing it here.

Everything is explained in the demo page.

The link appears to be broken.

Anyway, it looks like a great tool! I would’ve loved to have this when I was a PT user, but my need for PT fizzled out over the years and I no longer have a license.

Wheelieplugins Patchbay it is called.

Haaaa yes I can relate, I have heard of some people using it in Logic, Reaper and Ableton tho'. But for me in ProTools it was more than necessary haha.
