Very interested to hear what other minds would output.
Same with music involving STRÄNG!
I'm very impressed, absolutely and this proves to be why STRANG2 made my template first day at practice it's very lovely & musical, yet can be edgy if pushed, just right thanks again, and can't wait to hear what else you come up with.

Just a heads-up that I'm nearly ready with a fairly significant update, including most of the functions and fixes you've asked for — likely ready this weekend! MPE isn't quite there yet, but I'll do my best to sort it out very soon.

Chord scale modes — all seven now (Major through Locrian), so chord mode follows the key you're actually in
Global aftertouch sensitivity with spike rejection (simmo75, this one's for your Push 3)
LIVING BODY — a new deep control that slowly evolves the body while a note rings, organic movement that never quite loops
MORPH + RATE moved up onto the main panel
Cleaned up

A proper neutral blank-slate INIT (thanks CinningBao for the spec)
Level-matched preset bank, and 30 factory presets that were accidentally hidden are back
Plus a stack of fixes: strum direction, held-note WAVE crackle, unison count, dual-layer polish, and more

Did you get a chance to try this with the latest update? It should be sorted now, but I couldn't fully test it on my end. I'm pushing another update later today with even more refined aftertouch, plus MPE support.

STRÄNG 2.3 — what's new

I'm wrapping up another update to 2.3, so let me know if I've missed anything.

I'm also adding a 2.3 batch of new presets as an importable pack using the new system. If any of you have self-made presets you'd like included, send them over to info@quantasticalsound.com or drop them in the Discord: discord.gg/9vDCbuDkwJ

STRING: a physically-modelled exciter (Karplus-Strong string / modal ping) plucked straight into the convolution body. Shape it with TYPE / ATTACK / DAMP / DECAY.
MPE: full per-note expression for Seaboard and other MPE controllers (glide, pressure-to-volume, slide). MPE is still slightly experimental, so hit me up if anything weird shows up.
Modulation depth matrix: mod wheel and aftertouch routings are now bipolar, -100% to +100%, with FM added as a target.
Pitch envelope plus PITCH as a target for both LFOs.
Preset export / import, preset packs (.strangpack) and a new BANK selector.
Compressor attack / release and OUTPUT TRIM.
A major GUI performance fix on Windows.
Plus many small fixes.
