Windows Smart Screen will flag it as not commonly downloaded, but I guarantee it's fine to install.
It installs the standalone and the VST3 to the default VST3 folder. That's it.

Fold is a virtual analogue synth.
It sounds quite a lot different from aPathetic Synth.

Layers is four subtractive synths (4 x aPathetic Synth) in one, layered so that four sounds (playing the same note) play simultaneously.
It sounds impressive in my opinion and it's my favourite so far.
That's 4x3 oscillators + 4x8 unison voices!
Using all four layers, my CPU was at 25% usage, but it depends on the settings of each layer.
Having two, three or four instances of the synth would not double, triple or quadruple the CPU usage, but considerably less.
Just to give you an idea, my CPU is an Intel Core i9 10920X, so it's quite average these days.
