Korg does okay on their software emulations of their synths. The ones for their current lineup are outstanding, I love Modwave Native.

Anyway my favorite synth plugin varies all the time. Overall it's got to be Phase Plant but if I am honest right now it's MiniFreak V for the most used, just because of how well it interoperats with my MiniFreak Stellar.

good example of using the two together:

Both work standalone, but when working together, changes on one of them are reflected on the other in real time and the plugin becomes a software console for the synth.

Korg does the same with the ModWave/ModWave Native (and also their other to newer flagship synths)

You always expect big brands to cut corners as they rarely have to make an effort to keep their credibility. KORG, however, threw that mindset out the window when it comes to the plugin versions of their synths. The only thing left for them to do is to make their plugins Linux native. If they do I can truly say that multi/poly is that one item I'll bring with me to the island.

The Wavestate, Modwave, and Opsix are all based on Raspberry Pi internally and run the same DSP implementation as the plugins. So theoretically anyway... they have

I’ve been using Serum and Vital a lot lately.
Vital is surprisingly capable for a free synth.
From stock plugins I still like the ones in FL Studio and Ableton.

It’s like the Sytrus of Ableton!
