OK so the vibe coding part is just from the fact that you can vibe code a Reaktor ensemble, but then you proceed to speculate whether you can use the new front end NI talk about in that thread, to assemble VST/AU plugins without vibe coding?
Not what I am saying at all. All I am saying is that according to NI themselves you will soon be able to turn patches from Reaktor which would include the Ensembles used to create them into standalone instruments. Super*Saw is the first example of that. There is no speculation that is exactly what was said. These are stand alone instruments that use Reaktor DSP as the back end
Currently there is a process or at least there was a process to secure your Reaktor Ensemble for commercial use only. Not many people currently sell Reaktor Ensembles but it happens, I think it's pretty expensive to do, more so than Kontakt libraries with left browser icons etc.
Sure but that isn't really relevant to the new platform. Those would require you to own Reaktor to work, the new platform allows you to make stand alone instruments that users can then use with a custom GUI that you build without having to own reactor. That's totally different
From what I can tell mostly with the new front end for Reaktor it's more about it being usable on modern computers and not looking like MineCraft. You're jumping to vibe coding as a threat to being able to create reaktor Ensembles in this new environment without using vibe coding, is where you kinda jumped into conspiracy theory logic:
Again there is no conspiracy theory, Matthew from NI literally said we will be able to turn patches into stand alone instruments. Since currently right now you can use AI to make patches, it's really not a conspiracy theory to take NI at their word and say you can turn the patches you made with AI and then them into dedicated plugins. Not sure why that is so hard to grasp?
It's a GUI remodel that is more like a nice front end for spaghetti interface code from what Evil Dragon mentioned, so far there's not much indication in that thread it's going to change the process in any drastic way besides being easier to use.
No it's not just GUI remodel, it's totally different as it allows you to make stand alone instruments. Super*Saw is not just Reaktor with a different GUI. It's a stand alone instrument

Matthew from NI is an NI employee, speaking on the official NI forum. I think he made it abundantly clear what it when he said

"And we're releasing new products too (Super*Saw is one example).

In fact, Super*Saw is the first product built with a new platform update to Reaktor, that will eventually open to all builders. It empowers Reaktor builders to create discrete, standalone plug-ins running the Reaktor engine under the hood,

Notice he is saying it's a new platform update, then he said it will eventually be open to all. Then he said it will allow builders to create and build standalone instruments that you can sell

It most certainly isn't just a new GUI for Reaktor

But shall we take NI at their word? Or speculate and engage in conspiracy theories that Matthew isn't being truthful about his own company on his own companies forum

Also keep in mind it's entirely possible that Reaktor will also get a new GUI along with the new capabilities to turn your patches into self contained stand alone instruments. In fact that would make a lot of sense, but the two things absolutely can exist at once, that we get a new GUI and have the ability to use that to make stand alone instruments.

In conclusion let me ask if Matthew is being truthful which we can only assume he is why do you think people won't use AI along with the new Reaktor platform to make stand alone VST3 and AU instruments?

Imagine spending all the time you spend writing your (nonsensical) posts with actual music making with the tools you are discussing.

Jeeeeebus what a thread. I made it all the way to page 11.

What on earth are you guys smoking who think this is just a one trick pony? Did none of you watch the presentation video? Looks and sounds to me like it could be a quite interesting synth for morphing sounds of all kinds. Unfortunate name and perhaps a little bit overpriced but holy moly you guys are smoking some old-man crack and pissing all over this thing without seemingly understanding the concept at all.

I'm just glad NI is finally creating something other than another f**king useless Maschine pack.

Come on now, get real! This ain't that bad of a release.

? It's a synth that makes supersaws, called the supersaw synth, it's a one trick pony by name and definition.

That's not a knock on it if you like the trick. I don't, others will. I won't buy it, others will, everyone's happy.

You choose weird things to get emotional about.

Again this is where you jump to IMO weird speculation, that's what I was commenting on. There's no mention of AI in that thread, no mention that you will not need to own Reaktor to make these stand alone Reaktor ensembles. I mean if you have the quote from him on that fine, but it more seems like they've redesigned the front end and made it easier to build Esembles for standalone, but I see nothing about it being free, or that you would be able to do it without owning Reaktor.

I at this point doubt that standalone Ensembles are going to be offered to the public as a free choice. The old version was you had to own Reaktor to make them, and pay NI something to commercially sell them. The public could buy and use commercially available Reactor Ensembles in the player, and free ones in the Reaktor full version.

I do not think that model is changing, just that the front end is likely not going to be as clumsy.
