thanks for the Vekte link - I had not seen this and it really does seem interesting. Hopefully the price will not be too high
Thanks for the mention.
Since the price question comes up, here it is directly:

Vekte stays free during the public beta.
At commercial launch, Vekte Desktop (VST3, macOS and Windows) will be €59, with a launch price of €49 until the end of September.

Vekte for iPad (AUv3 and standalone) will be €14.99, launching at €12.99.

Active beta testers will get a founder discount - I'll be contacting those people directly.

Vekte is not another small MIDI utility. It's a deep, deterministic generative sequencer built for patterns that can be explored, transformed, recalled and shared.

Try it out while it's Beta at https://valdlabs.com/vekte

so much potential here but I think you will have to make some clear tutorials graded from basic to advanced. It's such a powerful system but ... with great power comes great responsibility :D

Haha, thanks for the tip! I will start a series of tutorials indeed, on instagram and youtube.
for now, you have a pretty detailed manual here: https://valdlabs.com/vekte/manual.html

Glad you're trying it out and enjoying it :)

thanks for the manual - makes a big difference :) Look forward to the tutorials. I got some great results using the internal cross modulation you mention in the manual - very productive

Mods are cool, I like the auto rotate as well. I didn’t see a manual anywhere. Pretty intuitive at any rate.

Thank you, it's comforting to read that you found it intuitive!

Here is the manual. in case you want to dive into it: https://valdlabs.com/vekte/manual.html
It also explains the algorithms one by one, so it can be worth a view - even if just for academic curiosity :D

For the next update it might start to be a bit necessary at least for the more advanced features i'm adding - expect it shortly!

Nice, that was the objective from the start, to make some wild cross modulations so it's great to see you're using it for exactly that - i'm adding a few more features to the upcoming release (the final one as beta), and i'll keep you all up to date. I hope you like it

Not heard of DevOcean Modular before, but seems like it has some interesting features for midi processing, including scripting:
