How to make a similar sound that starts at 43 seconds in this amazing track?
One guy on Youtube made a midi and used some pluck from the Spire synthesizer and got a very good result.
Attached is a midi file of this melody. It's complex and quite unique.

It's just detuned supersaw/s over a few octaves with a bit of filt env and some beat-locked echo.
The other guy got it mostly right but for whatever reason didn't pull the filter down.
Bear in mind too that what you are hearing in the song is -in a mix of a piece- and what you hear yourself and others make is not. So apples and apple pie.
