Oh boy, this is the "anything goes" territory. Phasers, flangers, chorus...
Quite subtle is to double the track not sung but whispered.
Or do it Elvis style: add a backslap delay (40 to 120 ms)
Inverse: the telephone effect (cut below 200Hz and above 5000Hz, with some distortion)

Almost any song where it's clearly audible that the lead singer isn't just singing by himself. Where you can hear that there is something going on either in the back if the vocal (depth) or at the sides of the vocal (width)
There was definitely all of that going on in the video that I posted. A lot of width at the sides. You should reach out to them.

A few things come to mind.

The right mic- usually for my own vocals it is a Flea 47.

A good reverb with the right amount of pre-delay and the right filtering. I almost never need a vocal reverb with anything under 200Hz or over 7kHz. I'll generally use two reverbs- a short room or ambience for size and a plate for sustain.

The fet -> opto compression approach (or vice versa- but I usually prefer the former). Lately I've been using a Purple Audio MC77 into the Tubetech CL1b.

A dynamic EQ on the guitar bus triggered from the vocal. It is an eternal fight for me to balance thick/cutting guitars with a lead vocal. I usually cut piano/synths too.

If I am fighting the vocal against the rest of the arrangement then a bit of 12kHz air from a 1073 EQ usually does the trick.

I usually run 2 vocal parallels, with one mid focussed. 1176 in all buttons in mode. Will us eone or the other.

Eventide H3000 patch -Micropitch Slap. Makes everything sit better, usually.
