I still, to this day, haven't been able to try your plugin
Because?
Because I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga with a 12" 4k screen. Anything that doesn't scale up shows up about the size of a postage stamp. I can't use anything that small.

You may be happy to hear that I just recently started working on the remaining bits and it's looking good so far! If all goes well, I'll upload a pre-release / public beta within the coming days.

Thank you for Charlatan3. I think it’s a brilliant plugin, and in terms of features I believe it’s already perfect as it is just like Charlatan2, which I still use today.
May I ask if you think it could be possible in a future version of Charlatan3 to read and write presets also from sub-folders within a ‘presets’ folder below its main location, in addition to the directory it currently uses (under \Users), so that it can be perfectly portable. Thanks again and best regards.

It's perfectly portable, you need to open presets folder & compress. The preset folder is created in the first plugin run, than you can open it and deploy presets there.

You can find a cheap old HP laptop with 17" screen for troublesome hi-res apps. To add value, use it as a backup and tests platform in case something goes bump in the night :scared: I'll guess 4k is wonderful, but on a 12" screen, it seems a bit like putting Yankee Stadium in a high skrool gymnasium
