The features are wide and kinda crazy.. so please check out the docs here for what it's capable of: https://www.tweakbench.com/noemi/docs
Here's a rundown of what it can do:
Every source is a different take on "what comes next":
- Pattern - four independent polyrhythm playheads over one clip
- Generator - probabilistic note rules across 30+ scales
- Rhythm - 8-lane step sequencer
- LiveCode - TidalCycles-inspired mini-notation
- Waveform · Slicer · Granular - turn any audio into playable material
- 5 built-in instruments - Chirusa (4-osc subtractive), SimSim (wavetable morphing), Cantia (formant voice), Leeroy (drum synth), Ostion (drum sampler)
- 7 effects + 56 presets, two send/return buses, a per-channel mixer
- A 4-stage mastering chain — Parametric EQ, Stereo Imager, Multiband Dynamics, Maximizer
- Or bring your own: hosts VST3 / AU / CLAP / LV2 instruments and effects
- 12 chainable MIDI transformers - arpeggiator, chord generator, scale quantizer, Euclidean rhythm, Markov chain, style learner, probability gate, humanize…
- 11 modulation sources (LFO, envelope, step-seq, random, follower, sidechain, macro, MIDI, OSC, mini-notation, automation) routable to anything, each with its own rate and response curve
- A Conductor that hands every generator one shared chord progression + energy curve, so the whole graph agrees on the song
The !!! Randomizer re-rolls a whole setup in one click - which nodes, in what order, at what settings - with per-knob locks, plus undo / redo / A-B so happy accidents never get lost.
- 16 scenes with crossfade, a full-screen Performance View, and a song arrangement engine with 10 templates
- MPE expression, MTS-ESP microtuning, MIDI I/O, OSC, CC Learn
- Export a single mix or multitrack WAV/MP3, render per section, or drag patterns straight out as MIDI/WAV
Runs as a standalone app on macOS, Windows, Linux: and as a VST3 / AU / CLAP / LV2 plugin (instrument and effect variants), so the entire machine drops inside your DAW and streams MIDI back to the host. Four themes, VoiceOver accessibility, autosave with crash recovery.
So basically.. Noemi is a generative DAW where you compose the system, not the song - then perform, refine, and export the music it makes.
The full price is $50US but for now we're doing a launch sale at $30US for early adopters. We'll also be adding a cross-grade for Tweakbench Bundle owners, so please wait for that email to arrive!
