Didn't look like it from the wee blurb I saw on their site. It seemed more suited to orchestral brass or in a pinch some big-band brass. Dunno about gritty funky soulful brass.

I've been waiting for them to release the VSTI. I really want this type of VSTI to be physically modelled though.
