I'm listenning to this album & it is really good; game boy music not cheesy & not to "videogamish".

Proves that good music really shines through no matter what tools you are using.

I like all sorts of music. This was okej but it didnt do it for me.. its not something i would rave over

good music is good music no matter which tools you use! Thats true but its not like we havent known that before..

a gameboy and a pair of headphones and you can make mod like music anywhere... thats cool, i didnt know that...

could you point me to a website dedicated to gameboys music? i might buy me a gameboy just to amuse my self when im not home...

I saw the band (well, girl and laptop/synths) Printed Circit at New Year (literally!) and she was controlling stuff via a gameboy. Very cool

There's an compilation of music made with Nanoloop called, wait for it, Nanoloop. Excellent compilation, especially the Merzbow track.

this minimalism fascinates me somehow. this music has a certain kind of esthetics and power....

but on the other hand this sound reallly hurts my ears. I think it is a little bit intrusive. ouch.

I listened to the first track only, but i thought it was great. Will listen to rest later.

A bit harsh on the ears maybe, but fascinating to listen to and i'm just impressed with the whole concept. Very clever i think and if i had a gameboy i'd go grab some music software for it straight away.

Might go to emusic and find some micro-house or whatever its called, got me interested now

Klangstabil ( http://www.klangstabil.com ) did an interesting Gameboy album at the end of the 90's, the title of which escapes me at the moment.
