The good news: "Solina" is already existing in Kontakt-Format as 400 MB file. But currently we can´t do the sample conversion to EVE format because we don´t have this special data converter tool. The same with our other planned product "Keys, Ensembles, Synths", samples are done since long but data conversion and Preset making is still missing.

I´ll talk with Luigi to find a solution for a quick release.

I like what you have in store for EVE, liqih :) Of course, depending on the upgrade price, which knowing you will be very fair.

I'm not sure this is the place, but I'd like to put in one small feature request for 1.8 or 2.0: true legato mode where both the amp and filter don't retrigger. Right now the amp retriggers no matter what, and thats no good for fat moog leads, etc etc. :? I'm pretty sure WK has this feature in Wusik, so its possible...

The problems with EVE in Tracktion that I have noticed are only small. I've had problems with the GUI and when you load EVE up it sends the processor usage up by about 30-40% initially(only a problem when using alot of plugins) it seems to be ok in other Sequencers on start up. Just thought that these minor things might need a bit of attention.

DK+ did the same with the processor at startup but thats working fine now after the updates.

Bring it on liqih, can't wait. :D

Confused :?
can registered owners install this over thier previous installation of eve? This looks like a timed beta.

yes, just backup your original installation,
so when the beta times out you can restore 1.4h,
until 1.8 release

or just install the beta in another folder,
delete its beta EVE Data folder and teach EVE Beta where is the full EVE Data you have when it asks

Hey Liqih!

Will the EVE CM version be able to get an update too?

You mentioned the other day that you'd think about it. I'd only like to have the preset changing bug solved (Live4). Don't know if that's much of a trouble for you, but if it's easy you could make our day to all of us CM readers... ;)

That minimoog soundbank seemed really yummy but I want to test EVE first. I had the wusikstation but sold it after a while because I am too lazy to have multi menu GUIs. I got bored with it. EVE seems potentially cool to me because of the 1 page GUI. But it needs to pass the 2 week test first.

So in short: maybe :)
