OK, there are some good suggestions, but Dream weaver is too expensive and some of the others seem to be Windows only,

So I'm still looking for reccomendations for a Web site creatorm that's easy to use and maybe has some getting started templates.

I use Mac OSX Panther

I can't really recommend software, because I don't have a mac, but webmonkey is a really cool resource. I could never have built my site without it.
